Watch Warranties: Frequently Asked Questions

Why do some watches include a manufacturer's warranty and some do not?

To provide customers with the broadest possible selection, offers watches sold directly by LLC as well as by third-party sellers. Amazon has strict requirements for who can sell watches on our site, and all watches must come with a warranty.

All watches sold by LLC come with a manufacturer's warranty.

Watches sold by third-party sellers on Amazon come with either a manufacturer's warranty or a seller warranty.

What is a seller warranty?

A seller warranty is a warranty offered by the seller of the watch rather than its manufacturer. Under a seller warranty, the seller is responsible for servicing the watch.

What is a manufacturer warranty?

A manufacturer warranty is a warranty offered by the manufacturer. Under a manufacturer warranty, the manufacturer is responsible for servicing the watch.

What does a warranty cover?

Each warranty is different, depending on the seller, manufacturer and watch brand. To learn more about a warranty for a particular watch, click on the "Warranty" link on the product detail page.  If you have further questions about the warranty, contact the seller directly.

If a watch comes with a seller warranty, does it also come with a manufacturer warranty?

A watch sold with a seller warranty typically does not include a manufacturer warranty.

Will a manufacturer service a watch that comes with a seller warranty?

A seller warranty covers only service by the seller, not the manufacturer.  However, some manufacturers service watches without manufacturer warranties, typically for an additional fee. Contact the manufacturer directly to find out more.

Who do I contact if I have questions about warranties?

For questions about the warranty on a specific watch, look at the warranty information on the product detail page. Contact the manufacturer or seller, as applicable, using the contact information listed in the warranty documentation.
